We know that COVID-19 and the subsequent industry disruptions have impacted New Jersey's artists or teaching artists in so many ways. Thousands of artists and sector workers have sustained catastrophic financial losses that threaten irreparable damage. These grants are designed to aid in the recovery and  renewal so individuals may continue to engage and delight our communities with the inspiring music and educational programs that we may have taken for granted before the pandemic began early in 2020.
