The Sinatra Birthday Bash is a tribute benefit concert produced by Jazz Arts Project, a nonprofit (501)(c)3 organization, serving as an annual fundraiser for unique music educational programs for at-risk and underserved youth. Proceeds from the Annual gala event help fund the various education programs facilitated by Jazz Arts Project. As evidenced since the inaugural year of this organization and with the inception of education and scholarship initiatives, Jazz Arts Project provides tools for future generations of artists and enthusiasts by working with a diverse student population, including an emphasis towards students from at-risk and underserved communities.

The Red Bank Jazz Orchestra performs the Sinatra Overture

A production of the non-profit organization Jazz Arts Project, the Sinatra Birthday Bash is every December on or around Frank Sinatra’s birthday as a tribute performance to this American icon. This is the original Sinatra tribute concert in New Jersey and takes place each year at the historic Count Basie Theatre.

Under the musical direction of Joe Muccioli, who Jazzwise Magazine says works with “a maximum of authenticity,” and backed by the acclaimed 28-piece Red Bank Jazz Orchestra, the cast sings the great songs of the American Songbook and many of the tunes associated with Sinatra during his long career.

The Sinatra Birthday Bash is not a costume and wig show, but a sincere, respectful tribute in music and song to one of New Jersey’s favorite and most famous sons. This show is a perennial favorite that fills the house with Sinatra enthusiasts who appreciate authentic, world-class live entertainment from a very talented cast and professional jazz orchestra in the true tradition of the Count Basie / Frank Sinatra collaborations of years past.
