Over the years thousands of children have been introduced to the wonderful world of instrumental music making in our free Middle School Summer Camps. Presented and facilitated by Jazz Arts Project's staff and instructor, this two-week program is offered each year for all students in Monmouth County, grades 3-7 without ever asking for any tuition or fees. Typically more than 70 students learn to play an instrument with individual and group instruction. They experience playing in various ensembles and even a large orchestra which is assembled and presented in a special public performance at the end of the camp.
