Get Ready for A Summer of Jazz!

After an exciting spring, celebrating its 20th year during Jazz Appreciation month in April, the nonprofit Jazz Arts Project is getting ready for a busy summer.  This year there will be a virtual non-stop array of world-class jazz artists performing in dozens of events including park concerts, café nights, appearances, masterclasses, and Jam sessions. There will also be several weeks of music camps and training programs for young musicians in the area. All this in honor of America’s music, Jazz.

The organization is thrilled to announce an exhilarating summer lineup filled with vibrant jazz concerts and events that will resonate throughout the heart of Red Bank, NJ. Throughout July and August, music lovers of all ages will have the opportunity to experience the magic of live jazz with performances from both renowned artists and emerging talents.

Some of the world-class jazz musicians already confirmed include: Eddie Allen Quintet, The Grace Fox Big Band, Winard Harper & Jeli Posse, Leonieki Scheuble & Three Generations of Jazz, Frank Vignola, and James Austin and his Songs in the Key of Wonder.

Red Bank will transform into a jazz haven with live music at various venues, parks, and festivals, including the much-anticipated Summer Jazz Café, the Jazz in the Park Series on the banks of the Navesink, the West side Concert series at Johnny Jazz Park and the Monday night Jam Sessions at Triumph brewery. Each event promises to highlight the rich history and deep cultural roots of jazz while fostering community connection and enjoyment.

"We believe jazz has the power to uplift and unite our community, and we’re excited to present an array of events that will engage people from all walks of life,” says Joe Muccioli, Founder & Artistic Director of the Jazz Arts Project. “This summer promises to be unforgettable and we invite everyone to join us in celebrating this vibrant art form.”

All the free concerts and the moderately priced Jazz Café will be a great opportunity to sit back and listen to this great music with such a rich history and cultural significance.  More specific information will be available on the organizations web site: www.JazzArtsProject.org
