The non-profit Jazz Arts Project is proud to partner with Red Bank's Triumph Restaurant & Brewery, to present a spirited and delicious Holiday event featuring 14-time Grammy Award Winner and Jazz Master, Paquito D'Rivera.

With a catalog including over 30 solo albums and thousands of guest appearances, “Paquito D'Rivera has become the consummate multinational ambassador, creating and promoting a cross-culture of music that moves effortlessly among jazz, Latin, and Mozart,” according to the NEA which named D'Rivera an NEA Jazz Master, America's highest honor in Jazz.

This concert event will also showcase the talented students from our own Jazz Arts Academy. It is an event which we refer to as an array of "legends and lions" in jazz. In the true tradition of passing down the joy of jazz to future generations, Jazz Arts Academy students aka “The Lions” will perform on stage alongside Paquito aka “The Legend”. World class Jazz Artists have been integral to

our premier music education program serving as inspiration, instructors, clinicians and mentors to these up and coming young musicians.

The students will be alternating tunes and perhaps even occasionally trading solos with the legends, showcasing the music skills they have honed during the Fall semester of the Jazz Arts Academy, the best and most effective jazz education program in the region.

Join us at the Two River Theater, witness musical rites of passage for our students as the Legend Paquito D'Rivera inspires us all, including the next generation of jazz musicians and enthusiasts.
