In the true tradition of passing down the Joys of Jazz to future generations, Jazz Arts Academy students, aka “The Lions,” perform on stage alongside a stellar group of revered jazz recording artists, aka “The Legends”.
By sponsoring at this level, you help provide a safe and nurturing environment for area youth to explore creative expression while opening up a world of possibilities.
Many of the world-class Jazz Artists that we present have been integral to our premier music education program, serving as instructors, clinicians, and mentors to these up-and-coming young musicians. The students will be alternating tunes and trading solos with the pros, showcasing the music skills and artistry they have honed during the Fall semester of the Jazz Arts Academy, the most effective jazz education program in the region. Witness musical rites of passage for our students as the Legends pass the baton to the next generation of musicians.
